The Baby in the Manger

I stumbled upon a nice site with free old-fashioned clip-art.
There are lots of Christmas-y ones--some I like better than others.
This is one of my favorite:

Squirrel out of a knit glove

So cute!  Great when you only have one glove left!  I think a little bunny would be nice.  or a fuzzy bear.

I bet these could be made to look like poinsettias, too!  The bottom flower in the last picture looks like a poinsettia to me.

For Some Fancy Filing

Source/Tutorial: http://allylaughingatthedays.blogspot.com/2010/10/tale-of-one-filing-cabinet.html

I like filing cabinets because they can hold lots of paper in an organized(?) way.  My husband likes them because they have lots of room, but a small "footprint" on the floor of our small space.  And now they can even be pretty!

Hi!

This will be fun.  I love new ideas, and I especially love quick projects.  My plan is to share them here!
(I'm also kind of a non-conformist, so for now this is my substitute for Pinterest).  Hope you enjoy!
